| 1. I need to find replacement parts
for my phone. |
| |
| 1. Please note: Several companies, including Bell South,
manufacture telephones under the name "U.S. Electronics." They
are a completely different company than us. They can be
reached at the following phone numbers: 800-338-1694 or
212-221-1354. |

| 2. Why do I have to reprogram my
remote control after I replace the batteries? |
| |
2. ICX Global has solved this problem with the creation of
Memory Lock™. Memory Lock stores the codes in the remote for
as long a 40 years, even with the batteries removed. The
latest lines of 2-in-1, 3-in-1, and 4-in-1 remote control from
ICX Global all feature Memory Lock.
Not all remote
controls have Memory Lock, though. Your remote needs power to
store the codes that you programmed into it. Once the
batteries have been removed, there's no power source, so the
codes will be flushed from memory. Sometimes, there's enough
power stored within the electronics of the remote to hold the
codes until you put in new batteries; but often, if you
inadvertently press a button on the remote after the batteries
have died, any remaining power is drained and the codes are
lost. |

| 3. I can't find a code that operates
my TV or VCR. |
| |
3. Have you tried CodeScan? It lets you search through all
the codes in the remote to see if one works. It's in the
user's manual and in the instructions section on this website.
If that doesn't work, then unfortunately, there's no code
available for that TV or VCR.

| |
| 4. I programmed the remote, but it
won’t work my TV, VCR, or Cable Box. |
| |
4. You may have entered the wrong code (or the correct
code might not be listed). Try entering all of the device
manufacturer’s codes again, starting with the manufacturer’s
popular code if one is available.
If you are still
unable to operate your device, follow the instructions in the
section titled CodeScan™.
Weak batteries may cause the
remote to only operate one device. If this happens, simply
replace them with NEW alkaline batteries and reprogram the
remote. If you are sure the batteries are good, try rolling
them with your finger to ensure a good connection. |

| 5. My remote control doesn’t operate
my combination TV/VCR. |
| |
5. Most combination TV/VCRs have VCR tuners in them. If
you have a 2-in-1 remote control, it won't operate your TV/VCR
combo. If you have a 3-in-1 or 4-in-1 remote control, you will
need to select a code from the VCR section that will power up
your TV/VCR, and program the remote as if you were programming
it for a VCR, not a TV.

| 6. How do I set up Parental
Control? |
| |
6. You'll need to contact your cable company about this.
They may need to issue a PIN that will allow you to lock and
unlock channels.
|
| |
| 7. My remote doesn't have a OK or
SELECT button. What button do I use? |
| |
| 7. The button located in the middle of the arrow buttons,
marked either OK or SEL, will function as the OK or SELECT
button. |
